Hospital Automation and OnDemand® Multi-dose compliance packaging

MTS consumables and automation are being used increasingly in hospital environments. The MTS OnDemand® Multi-Med machine which is interfaced to the hospital pharmacy software will be able to provide highly automated multi-dose compliance packaging more efficiently and cost effectively.

Coupled with our Flexi Plus-Pak, a perforated Plus-Pak™ system, this allows the automated production of labelled multi-dose compliance packs for different patient groups, such as psychiatric patients, with the additional benefit of being able to tear off fully individually labelled blisters, for example, to cover given afternoons when the patient is off site.

MTS is also working on ward automation systems to allow automated issue of drugs for example in Accident and Emergency wards under full pharmacy control.
